GULLAC DESSERT RECIPES
Ingredients:
- 300 g. gullac
- Milk: 2 l. of milk (10 water glasses)
- Sugar: 800 g. sugar (4 water glasses)
- 200 g. ground walnuts, hazelnuts or pistachios
Preparation:
- Boil the milk with sugar. The goal is to melt the sugar in the milk.
- Rest the sugary milk to reduce the heat to a level that it will not burn hands.
- Place a rice wafer on an appropriate-size tray with its bright surface facing upwards.
- Pour warm milk on it. Continue this process until the rice wafers and milk are finished.
(If it is to be consumed within 1 day, walnuts, hazelnuts or pistachios can be added between the layers if desired.) - Rest the rice wafers desert for 2 hours. Serve it putting walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, pomegranates, cherries or strawberries on it.
NOTE: Rose water or vanilla can be added if desired.
